Essay-Children Getting Allowence

Many kids in the world today are very spoiled an believe that they are entitled to money that is not theirs, eventhough they do not do anything to help earn that money made by their parents. The parents of these children give this money to their kids as an allowence for not doing anything. Other parents only give their chilldren an allowence if they do chors around their living space, or just help their parents out with stuff that would be easier to do with another set of hands. Allowence is given to children to have them practice money management. If they learn at a young age it will help them greatly in their future, on how to manage their money. In the real world you arent just given money though. It will never just be handed to you easy. You have to work for everything you get when you are not living with your parents anymore. If the money is just being handed to the children it is not teaching them anything. Parent should give their children an allowence only if their child does chores/work around the house, or for good behavior if their child behaves really bad.
If the child just gets the money without having to put any work into it, he or she will never be able to make it in the real world when they grow up. In the real world, after college for some and high school for others, things are not just handed to you. You have to put in some type of hard work to get the money that everyone desires. If you don't then some else that was taught to work hard will get the money that you would like. If the child gets the money after he or she has done chors or work around their living space, they will grow up to know that whatever they want in life requires hard work to be put in. If nothing is put in, you will never get anything out. That is a law of nature. Unless you are just drop dead rich and you are to recieve the money when your mother or father dies, then that is different. But that isn't the case in most families today in America. I have a friend who is very rich, and lives in a really big house in brentwood. He doesnt have to do anything because the wealth will be passed down to him in his future. His parents still make him work for the things that he gets, and even money becasue they want him to apprecieate everything and not take it for granted. They know that at any point in life something can go wrong, and they lose all their wealth. This can happen to anyone and it does. People lose everything they have sometimes and are forced o live a life they wish they didn't have to.
Parents should only give their children money or an allowence if they help out by doing chors or little jobs. If parents do this they will only be helping out their children in the future so that they will know if they want anything, they will have to work for it. Nothing is given to anyone. If parents just give their child money without any work then that child will not have a good future because they won't know how to get something that they really want.
