commuunication in the last 20 years

In the last 20 years or so, the way one person communicates with another person is a lot different than how it used to be. 20 years ago to communicate with another person in the world, people would just talk to that person "in person." that was how most communication was done. The telephone was popular to. Being able to talk to someone while not having to be with them. So people would talk on the phone a lot. Even though not a lot of people had them, cell phones allowed people to talk to someone anywhere at any moment of the day. Just type their number in and call them. Everyone thought this was just the coolest thing ever. Communication in today's world is a lot different than it use to be. Some people still do it, but talking on the phone is rare. Especially talking on the house phone. Most people now-a-days don't even have a land-line in their home. The most popular way of communicating today is through text message. Although teens do it the most, grown ups text message a lot too. The average teen sends over 1000 text messages per month. It is so bad that people as a whole don't have good social skills because they don't actually talk to people anymore. Another way people communicate with one another is through email. Email deals with a lot of business related communication that doesn't happen over the phone, or in person. Instant messaging and social websites like facebook are other ways that people communicate to one another in today's world. In the last 20 years, the way people communicate with other people in the world is a lot different than the way it was 20 years ago. It is all due to great advances in technology. All you can do it praise them because we all participate with the ways of communication now. I believe in the next 20 years there will be a whole new way people talk to each other than from how people talk to each other now.
